OSBTSF TUES ED. 2011 SUMMER OF 101 MOVIES 58-101!
Hello friends and film addicts,
I declared the Summer of 2011 to be my "Summer of 101 Movies!". It wass my goal to watch 101 movies I have never seen or finished by the end of the summer. I decided to put myself through this rigorous challenge after an argument I had with my friend, Zach Stanifer, over the fact that I want to write movie scripts but have missed out on alot of classics and blockbusters over the years. It was in that moment that I decided to challenge myself to expand my pallet and discover what the big screen could do for me through DVDS, Bluray and instant Netflix!
Here goes my fourth and final blurb bomb!
P.S. I've just start 2012 "Summer of 51 Films" and will do my first blurb round-up on Sunday.

3. WORD OF THE DAY! 1/22/12. Implausible. Monologue. Bullet time.
Dedicated to Linkara who taught me that I wasn't wrong for taking issue with the ludicrous art style that turns me into masses of tumorous flesh and women into pipe cleaners with boobs.
2. WORD OF THE DAY! 1/21/12.Sidekick.
Time to kick Keese and eat the hearts of my foes! I have been on a major Legend of Zelda kick since I got a new copy of Twilight Princess, Ocarine of Time 3D and Skyward Sword for Christmas. This word of the day was a fun retrospective of a series I've grown up with.
1. MIXED BAG. TABLETOP TALES. #3 FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC: THE BUDDY COP CAMPAIGN PT. 1
I got to talk about one of my favorite Dungeons and Dragons campaign I'd ever ran and it was a great way to supplement a month where I'm dry on creative juices and time. Thanks to all of you for check out my blog and being such awesome nerds.

WORD OF THE DAY! 1/18/12
metanoia [met-uh-noi-uh]
noun
1. a profound, usually spiritual, transformation; conversion.
2. Psychology. A spontaneous attempt by the damaged psyche to heal itself after unbearable conflict by melting down and restructuring itself in an a more adaptive form.
EX. After the Ludovico treatment (pictured above) subject Alex DeLarge found himself transformed from common misanthropic mischief maker to a defenseless, spineless, and gutless worm that is repelled by the very ideas of sexuality, violence and most certainly his special brand of "Ultra-Violence." His metanoia prevented him from even thinking about so much as swatting a fly or kissing a woman.
Alex DeLarge was changed into Alex DeSmall.
Fortunately or unfortunately, dependent on your political approximation and affection for sociopaths, our dear subject's transformation was less than permanent. In fact, only after a short rehabilitation, the metanoia reversed and transformed him back into the terror he had always been.
For Beethoven tells him so.

Word of the Day. 10/711
misanthrope [mis-uhn-throhp, miz-uhn-throhp]
noun
1. a hater of humankind.
sociopath [soh-seeuh-path]
noun
1. a person whose behavior is anti-social and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or a social conscience.
ultraviolence [uhl-truh-vahy-uh-lehnt]
noun
1. acts of random, brutal, and/or vicious abuse or assault.
EX. A Clockwork Orange's Alex is the perfect example of a likeable misanthropic sociopath. Despite committing acts of "ultraviolence", including rape, Alex is so charismatic, and so entertaining, and the state is so oppressive, that by the end of the film you side with the disturbed anti-hero.
