FTW FRIDAY! TOO MANY COOKS.

It takes a lot to make a stew; a pinch of salt and laughter too, scoop of kids to add the spice, a dash of love to make it nice, and you've got....

TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY COOKS.  TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY COOKS. TOO MANY...

It takes a lot to make a stew, when it comes to me and you, and him, and her, and the baby too. Too many cooks it's true. They say it goes it'll spoil the broth. Honey, I think that's not true. Well, maybe too many cooks will spoil the broth but they'll fill our hearts with so much love.

TOO MANY COOKS.

It was at this point I began suffering a metaphysical hemorrhage and stopped trying to type the lyrics as the came. Adult Swim. You've done it again.

Seriously, keep watch this video to the end. Your life will be either enriched or ruined. But if you don't try, you'll never know if you can have...

TOO MANY COOKS.

WORD OF THE DAY! 11/6/14!

nyctophobia [nyk-toh-fo-bee-uh]
noun
1. A severe fear of the dark.

EX. I had nyctophobia as a child. More specifically, I had a fear of any stimulus, either from seeing something more in near darkness or hearing something, due to an overactive imagination; a plastic bag being moved by a fan became a demon and the vents became invisible cobras.

Was this silly?

WORD OF THE DAY! 11/4/14!

podracing [pawd-rey-sing]
noun
1. Star Wars. A popular sport in the less-developed parts of the galaxy and one of the most dangerous sports ever invented.

EX. Podracing is the only thing Anakin Skywalker was ever good at.

That is the thesis behind ANI, the latest parody from Starkid, and today's subject of the Word of the Day.

Taking place between Star Wars Episode III and Star Wars Episode IV, ANI is a tale of following one's dreams, taking last chances, and redemption wrapped up in a musical parody of Star Wars & sports films. Lord Vader, or "Ani" as he likes to be called, is an over the hill, over weight and overly disliked overseer of the Deathstar project. When his position is challenged, he finds an opportunity to recapture his greatest moment of success-- winning the Boonta Eve podrace! But with little time to get ready and a lot of opposition in his way, its gonna take friendship and a little bit of the force to carry him over that finish line in one piece.

It isn't my very favorite Starkid musical but I still recommend it to Star Wars fans.

You can check out the whole show at the link at the top of the page or check out the first part HERE.

And remember to check out the incredible Sci-Fi film parody, filled with bits from Starship Troopers to Bug's Life, from Starkid:

Also, make sure to check out the definite must-see for fans of Batman, fans of Starkid, or fans of musicals is "Holy Musical B@man!" their latest and most awesome show. You can watch the whole thing by clicking the link below.

But my favorite is probably the amazing Disney parody, with a focus on Aladdin, that they wowed their fans with last year:

Or if you want to go back to the original hits and some Harry Potter, check out A Very Potter Musical and/or its Sequel. They have a number of other productions that are definitely worth seeking out, as well.

MUSIC MON! THE ROOM IS FROZEN, LEBRON! PICKLES, LEHBRAAAAWWN!

I wish we could let it go. But it won't be so. Because, as long as people keep coming up with brilliant and funny send-ups of Disney's billion dollar money-printing juggernaut that will spawn countless amounts of media and merchandise (trust me, I work in retail, they will be selling Frozen merch for years), people will be assaulted by the film and have a flight, fight or create parody response.

Creating a parody responses don't work as well against monsters as fight or flight.

As for this specific video, it is perfect. I've been watching a lot of Oney's video's lately, like on his new Let's Play channel, but it is Pebbles contribution that hits this puppy over the head with a shovel, ties him up in a sack, and throws him into the river.

Everyone betray me. I fed up with this world.

But seriously, The Room is STILL the best worst film (sorry, Troll 2).

Haha! Oh sport! How I am a fan of you!

But in all seriousness, this is a cool piece of animation.

Also, I simultaneously find myself bored and amused at the same time by sports nerd crap like whether or not LeBron James and the concept of fan loyalty or whatever.

This is serious people. Pickle dog serious.
