WORD OF THE DAY! 10/25/14!

peerless [peer-less]
1. Having no equal, unmatched, unrivaled.

EX. If there was every any doubt about Nintendo, just look at the features that they just announced for Super Smash Bros for Wii-U (coming out November 21st).

The amount of features and content that is available in this Smash Bros. trumps every previous version and its 3DS version. A few highlights are allowing up to 8 players to battle on a single console, a ton of customization and music options, several brand new game modes, etc. And all of this content comes for $60. I don't think it is unfair to call Nintendo peerless.

Oh and one more thing-- if you buy both versions you can register to get a special two CD set! Wait. I forgot. There were "two" things.

WORD OF THE DAY! 10/23/14!

blockbuster [blawk-bus-ter]
1. An aerial bomb containing high explosive, usually weighing several tons, meant for use as a large-scale demolition bomb.
2. A motion picture or novel, especially with lavish production, meant to appeal to a wide audience and/or achieve financial success.
3. Something or something that is forcefully or overwhelmingly impressive, effective, or influential.

EX. So, Marvel had planned to show the first teaser for Age of Ultron during next week's new episode of ABC's Agents of Shield, but it appears that "someone at Hydra" leaked the teaser about a week early. Rather than just wasting resources to try and contain the leak, much to the excitement of Marvel fans everywhere (and probably at the cost of some good cross marketing with Agents of Shield), they decided to release an official trailer.

After seeing the trailer, I can safely say that Age of Ultron is going to be the blockbuster to beat in 2015. I expect it to demolish the competition, break records, and make Disney even more money to put away in their vaults where they store the Disney classics like Snow White and Fox and the Hound.

I wanna end by stating that best part of the trailer, in my opinion, is James Spader's Ultron. I know we all love Hiddleston's Loki, but I think we're excited to see a different kind of villainy.

WTF WED! Danny Sexbang, Sasquatch, Jake the Dog and Finn the Human are... CRIME PATROL!

Last week's article was a little too intense. Let's take it easy this week with three funny and only mildly weird videos:

How about a sweet little piece of animation about a man and his relationship with the Sasquatch read by Danny Sexbang?

Go f*$% yourself.

I like it. I quit.

Sorry about that last description. I mean, whoo, that guy was clearly not having a good day. Let's give him a break and continue on. Wow? You really think that guy was being a jerk, huh? I would use that sort of language. It's okay. Let's keep going.

Crime Patrol is a full motion video game and, if Dunkey's latest video is to be believed, it is hilariously brutal.

Brutal. Like your opinion of the guy that told you to "go f*$% yourself" for not liking the Sasquatch animation. First of all, the video is great. Secondly, you don't know him. You don't know what kind of a day he was having. Everyone gets crabby sometimes. Third, you're the jerk now. Fourth, language like that is unforgivable even if someone else cusses at you first. And fifthly...

F#@$ YOU!

Wow. I'm so so sorry. We're going through a change in management right now so I'd like to apologize by giving you a complementary video:

This awesome gritty trailer for an Adventure Time movie reminds me of how most people are cluely to just how dark and twisted Pendleton Ward's show about a boy and his dog can be.

Twisted. Like you. Yeah. You. You twisted little pile of dog droppings. Don't act offended. You like it. You KNOW you like it. You would've stopped reading if you don't. Dirty, dirty reader! You can't even entertain yourself without pity clicking this guy's blog link on facebook. I bet you don't even get half of these references. What sort of a person would do this to themselves? F......

WORD OF THE DAY! 10/21/14!

secateurs [sec-uh-toors]
1. Sheers or scissors.

EX. Let's cut to the chase with a pair of secateurs.

Clock Tower is a game that doesn't really get the attention it deserves. In many ways, it set precedence for the horror genre of games. Despite being limited by the hardware of the time, the game manages to set up a lot of tension and atmosphere. It starts rather slow and the dialogue is very melodramatic but, when you're faced with the "Scissor-Man" you're going to be spooked, you're going to run, and your mind will race with desperation as you seek an escape. The game is all about replaying each scene and scenario to learn the best way and get the best endings through solving puzzles and timing everything.

Sound familiar?

Sounds like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

(This is a really sweet message from the guys who usually make videos about animal sex facts.)

(I wanna ride elephants and fire a machine gun. I am a man of simple dreams.)

(I want this skin but it is kinda pricey.)

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
