WEEKLY ROUND-UP! 3/20-3/26/12. BAD JOBS WEEK!

WEEKLY ROUND-UP PRESENTS
BAD JOBS WEEK!

7. WORD OF THE DAY! 8/25/12. Deadbeat dad.

I dunno why I've become so serious about Pokemon lore as part of the Pokebible;  But hey, if you haven't seen the pokebible articles, CLICK HERE.

6. WORD OF THE DAY! 8/26/12. Square off.

I dunno how I felt about this fan fiction; I think I could've gone a little further with the joke and details but, as you can tell that I am taking the week off, it was the last thing I wrote before my exhaustion and the first week of classes collided in a massive fireball of death... If you wanna hear my first impressions of The Dark Knight Rises in the blog's podcast, CLICK HERE.

5. WORD OF THE DAY! 8/21/12. Equestrian.

I got a little whinging and ranting out of my system with this article, but it should be clear that I am still a brony; in fact, I am working on some really detailed MLP articles that hopefully will appeal to bronies and non-bronies alike by focusing on a deeper analysis of this television show originally targeted at little girls and, increasingly, made with its older audience in mind. Also, check out this Celestia X Lemongrab Mashup by CLICKING HERE.

4. WTF WEDNESDAY! ZUBATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES TEASER!

Batman and this blog go together like PB & J in case you didn't know (This Blog = PB, Batman = J, and Pokemon = Chocolate). CLICK HERE TOO!

3. MUSICAL MONDAY! BIOSHOCK W/ LYRICS & MORE.

Bioshock also has some real estate in the early days of the blog with articles like THIS ONE.

2. TABLETOP TALES: "AVACYN, MAKE IT SO!" MTG DECK

I actually got a chance to take this version of the deck for a spin and well...I got the crap kicked out me the first game and lost the second, with honor. Both games just gave me awful hands; the first failed because of just a bad hand against a great hand and the second was a game of me controlling everything I could until my opponent finished me off. I think the deck's next outing will be far more successful.

1. WORD OF THE DAY! 8/23/12. Damsel.

For a word of the day to get the number one spot, you better believe it is more than just a short example! This article was my thoughts on how the Legend of Zelda series might evolve by taking the risk of making the titular character the protagonist and hero again (she has been before but, the game is hardly something to try and remember or celebrate). WORD OF THE DAY! 8/26/12.

square off [skwair-awf]
verb
1. Taking a fighting stance, preparing to fight, beginning a brawl by means of intimidation, posturing, and stretching, as well as other mind games.

EX. It had been nine months since Mysterion defeated the arch nemesis Prof. Chaos and Butters had been sent to his room for a year without TV. There had not been a single sign of Mysterion's presence; was he dead or in hiding? Nobody knew except for his established contact in the South Park County Geology Dept. and member of the City Council, Randy Marsh. Mysterion had become a criminal when he killed Kenny, that bastard.

There had been word of a new force to be reckoned with in the sewers of Southpark. Trained by Mr. Hanky himself, Bane, was a monster of a man that had taken over the underground market of meth and cow wrangling in South Park. He went too far when he started work on a bomb that could bring the mountains down around South Park.

Randy Marsh ended up chasing some guy who stole his margarita mixer into the sewers until he ended up getting shot (luckily, he was wearing his geologist's bulletproof vest) and was dragged before Bane. Randy quickly got off to square-off against his foe.

A cloaked figure from the shadow's shoots a dart into Stan's leg.

"Aw! No fair!"He howls before tumbling back over the railing behind him into the drain out of the sewer.

To be continued in...
