WTF WED! 2014 = BEST YEAR IN GAMING (IF YOU'RE NINTENDO)!
The first WTF Wednesday of 2015 is gonna be used to celebrate the gaming company that, in many gamers opinions, dominated 2014 with a slew of fantastic releases, consumer-friendly practices, and delivering on just so much hype!
Meanwhile, from releasing unfinished and disappointing games to online networks being hacked to general big company dickery, other companies made this one of the most controversial years in the industry.
Let's start out this Nintendo tribute by looking at a controversial death battle between Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu and Nintendo's pink bubblegum black hole of death, Kirby!
Fun fact! Kirby is one of my main three characters in Smash Bros 4!
I just got my copy of Omega Ruby and have been playing a Nuzlocke Challenge to make it more interesting. One of the big controversies with the games, made more relevant with the inclusion of the newer EXP share is that the games are too easy (even though you can turn the EXP share off).
Personally, I think they should include Nuzlocke options or harder difficulties for experienced players, but I dunno if that's feasible with their game's philosophy.
What do you think?
One of the funnest things to do in Smash Bros, if you haven't already done so, is to make custom Mii characters of famous people or your friends and duke it out for supremacy. I've always enjoyed making miis, especially of my friends, and we spent a whole afternoon fighting it out this past weekend.
If all else fails, you can petch. Always petch.
And Smash Bros was the best game of 2014. Deal with it!
But, for the first eleven months of the game, Mario Kart 8 was my go to game for partying with my friends! I know some people prefer Double Dash but, I gotta say, between the original tracks, characters, online mode, items, and the awesome DLC, this is my favorite Mario Kart. My favorite character is Ludwig.

WORD OF THE DAY! 9/23/14!
galaxy [gal-uhk-see]
noun
1. Astronomy. A large system of stars held together by mutual gravitation and isolated from similar systems by vast regions of space.
EX. Rosalina was introduced into the Super Mario Bros series with the Super Mario Galaxy installments (which I'd argue are a couple of the best platformers ever) and she quickly became a fan favorite. Rosalina is a powerful princess in the Nintendo verse: she is the adopted mother of the Luma, commander of the Comet Observatory, and watches over the cosmos. She is, essentially, Nintendo's guardian of the galaxy.
Recently, she has received more and more spotlight as an unlockable fifth character in Super Mario 3D World, a playable racer in Mario Kart 8, and as a new challenger in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for 3DS & Wii U.
Yet, despite all the exposure and despite what we do know, the character is still, in many ways, an enigma. The following videos have a theory about the space princess:

WTF WEDNDESDAY! Western Show on Super Mario World?!
WTF WEDNESDAY JAPANESE EDITION PRESENTS:
If you love Mario or Japanese insanity, first click the link above, watch the video, and then either thank me or hate me. This week WTF Wednesday is based on a video that went viral around 2008 via Japan's Nico Nico Douga forums (this is where 2ch comes from, btw). The video catches my eye for its amusing and slightly disturbing distortions of popular Super Mario Bros. characters and the use of a Super Mario World remix.
You can learn more about this insane meme and its rise by checking out the link below.

DAILY ROUND-UP! 9/26/11
Today, kind of sucked. I was sick and didn't get to do everything I planned to. Here it to a better tomorrow.
Sometimes you need a remix.
I am not sure why the 80's gave us such overly muscled barbarian heroes as Thundarr, He-Man, Zandor (the Herculoids), Liono etc. Perhaps, it because of the dungeons and dragons of the 70's catching on in the youth, Frank Frazeta's Conan the Barbarian or maybe, just maybe, the 80's was really, really gay. Just saying.
Not gonna lie, Disney's Dinosaurs was my favorite sitcom as a kid. Even though it was a rip-off of the Simpsons, was super cheesy (though extremely well made) and had one of the incredibly bizarre conclusions for a children's show ever. This show actually has more in common with Family Guy now that I think about. Hm....
I've never liked the smurfs but thought this was really beautiful in a creepy sort of way.
Nerds = Passion so....yeah.
