"OFFICAL" GAME GRUMPS ANIMATED PLAYLIST!

The official Game Grumps animated playlist has some of the best animations on youtube.

For example, Max Gilardi, who I featured before to much rejoicing and much reviling, really took it to a new level with the bizarre mix of styles in the extremely detailed cartoons I've seen that proves that animation is an artform that is only limited by time and talent (I guess everything is but animation just allows for so much freedom of expression!).

And some people would say that these artists are wasting their talents by just animating the commentary of the Grumps. I clearly disagree but let me elaborate why: if by jumping on the bandwagon, AKA animating this popular content, saves them time, allows them express themselves and exposes them to an already somewhat captive audience, then more power to them. I have discovered a lot of animators thru Game Grumps, which makes sense considering it was founded by Egoraptor and features Rubberninja. And I think a lot of other people do too.

Let's take a look at some animators that haven't been featured officially but often go above and beyond many of the featured artists.

TITHINIAN'S GAME GRUMPS ANIMATED SERIES!

Tithinian may not necessarily have the prettiest or cutest or cleverest designs, but what Tith does bring to the table is blinding speed of production that uses his assets to produce something that is funny and unique.  His expressive animation style lends itself well to the manic outbursts of the Grumps and I can't wait to see how he continues to grow as he uses the Game Grumps as a stepping stone towards animation of higher quality. (Seriously, this guy is a machine!)

BRANDON TURNER'S GAME GRUMPS (D)ANIMATED PLAYLIST!

The other mass producer of Game Grumps content that manages to just destroy my high expectations with his work is the adorable and clean doodling of Brandon Turner; his art style lends itself extremely well to these simple and cute animations that makes me jealous of the composition's cohesion throughout so many animations. I'd love to see more professional work from this artist.

And then there is Corax who's works titilate my eyes and brain in a way that few online animators can really match. Seriously.

Lately I've been subbing a lot of voice actor channels on youtube.

Mostly because they usually provide small chunks of entertainment regularly into my sub box and because I'm trying to get back into anime and otakudom proper.

Amongst these voice actresses is Nyanners who has a voice like the most saccharin of sugary sweet anime chibi girls but uses it for some truly morbid voice overwork.

Good.

I would do the same but I am cursed with only a few decent but weird voices (like Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho and Goldar from Power Rangers) and a lack of confidence to share my VO stuff.

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS FAIL 2 (18+) UDYR OF THE NORTH STAR!

Gonzossm is one of those flash artists that has always danced on the grave of common decency with an art style that looks like it would fit in well in the darkest depths of 4Chan with an intense mix of muscles, veins, and gore in violent & sketchy situations.

But, despite how sometimes the art style can be a bit much on my eyes that prefers minimalism, I still have fond memories of his work from my Newgrounds days and I've really enjoy some of his frequent work.

Sometimes you have to consume a lot of weird on the internet to find gold.

 Speaking of which...

My friends have a complicated love-hate relationship with hotdiggedydemon.

While they loved his MLP parodies, the Pony.mov series, but the last time I shared his work back in January with Zim Zam led to them literally pouring gasoline on me and setting me aflame.

I tried to tell them that sometimes you have to experience "Bij".

But they did not have the warrior's spirit to endure pain for the sake of enriching oneself with art, even art they don't like.

Oh well. I think this animation is a little less mind breaking, so I hope someone else can at least appreciate the high grade animation.

WTF WED! PIZZA BOOMERANGS DELIVERED BY INVADER ZIM ON A BACKWARDS CAT! (WARNING! NSFW EDITION!)

PIZZA BOOMERANG

For those of you not in the know, "NSFW" is an abbreviation of "Not Safe For Work". It usually refers to content depicting nudity, violence, or anything your boss or someone else with sensitive tastes might find offensive or get the wrong idea.

Pizza Boomerang has some nudity & violence. It is worth it.

It is worth it because it is that one video, the sort of video I run into about once a week when my haul of the net's bounty is thick with content, that changes my life. Every piece of entertainment and information, really input any kind, that we consume changes us in some subtle way. Pizza Boomerang is the sort of video that has a deeply profound effect.

The bizarre imagery and humor are going to be in my mind for a long time. Enjoy. I know I did.

INVADER ZIM LOST EPISODE (RARE!!!)

If Pizza Bommerang was a little too much for you to handle, then I'd recommend skipping to Backwards Cat.

Hotdiggedydemon, creator of the PONY .MOV series, has made a lot of disturbing content in the same vein as Ren & Stimpy, without the censorship that legendary program seemed to all but survive unscathed, and Invader Zim Lost Episode is probably his most disturbing creation. Filled with all of the contempt and visual humor of his other works, it may not be for everyone, it may not even be for me, but it is definitely something to behold.

My eyes feel violated. But that's okay. I like it.

BACKWARDS CAT GOES TO THE VET!

Let's end on a pallet cleanser with a bit of good old cartoony, in that Looney Tunes, Tex Avery, Chuck Jones sort of style mixing comedic violence, physical humor, and body humor in the surprisingly endearing first adventure of Backwards Cat.


Despite it's fart jokes, by my standards, it's good clean fun. And I really love it.

Alrighty then folks! First up is the latest animation effort from hotdiggedydemon in the form of a Pokémon parody in the vein of a John K. cartoon-- complete with grotesquely detailed facial expressions, comic timing, and that full dose of comic violence that would make any overbearing mother write an angry letter.

In other words, it's fantastic.

Then we've got a trippy Samurai Jack-esque that is more psychotropic than the amount of LSD it would take to kill an elephant and more messed up than taking that LSD while standing beside your wife giving birth to quadruplets with the help of a witchdoctor midwife.

In other words, it be WTF.

SIMS 3: THE POKÉPOCALYPSE!

Last, but certainly not least, this video is a little bit of glitched out hilarity set in the already glitched hilarity that is the Sims 3. If I try to explain what makes this funny, I will probably just confuse you and that's the video's job.

So, I know you crazy cats liked MY PONY.MOV SERIES ARTICLE and so, when I found out that there was another piece of media related to the series-- I HAD TO SHARE (cuz unlike Jappleack, I can share). The tumblr page starts out a simple, though often NSFW/abusive Ren & Stimpy style look into this delightful fan character, it quickly evolves and snowballs until it becomes a webcomic that actually spills the beans on "Applejack"'s adventures to save the multiverse she was on during the events of the other .MOV videos. BROHOOF!

SPANISH FOR EVERYONE DS INTRO

This is the single most racist premise filled with racist innuendo that I have ever seen disguised as a children's video game-- in fact, it goes beyond offensive and goes straight into legendary troll territory! Clearly, the makers of this game were either dissatisfied with their work or just massive bastardos. I recommend searching and watching/reading the other segments you can find on youtube, including the conclusion where Shawn becomes a drug mule.

"ANIMATION DO SEXY SWIMMING" AKA "THE SWIMMING ANIME"

This one is for the ladies, guys who like guys, otaku, casual anime fans, and internet citizens like myself with a bizarre sense of humor-- starting out as a simple promotional anime project from Kyoto Animation that was simply a short video, in the style of many similar videos/ music videos we generally get of original female characters all the time, and that's where things go nuts.

It seems that a simple short about four attractive/cute/sexy/attach additional adjectives that might apply etc. teenage boys swimming, drying off, and horsing around with each other around a pool has sent the internet (4chan & Tumblr) into a tizzy with fans foaming at the mouth as if bit by some new rabid fascination. Within a few hours, fan art, fan fiction, fan pairings, and so much more filled up the fan forums and girls/boys of the Internet rejoiced over the existence of new internet deities that were blanks vessels to attach personalities/relationships/backstories.

In fact, there is a petition to make this an anime. Personally, I just find the creation of cute anime characters and mascots to be fascinating and wish we had that sort of fun in America-- everything from porta-potties to precincts have their own mascots and cute nifty animations like this one are made all the time. All we get is crappy commercials about talking babies...
