WTF WED! FRANCIS AND ROSS FACE...CAPTAIN MOTORCYCLE!

Most people I know who are into motorcycles are middle-aged men. Any of my reader's like to ride the ol' crotch rocket? Do you do it to look cool? Or because you love the taste of bugs in your teeth? Just curious.

Game Grumps's Mario Maker series is one of the more entertaining series they've produced and exposes Ross O'Donovan as the monster we all knew tried to ride into our homes on Steam Train-- and honestly, just maybe, if he owned his sadistic side, I'd change my mind on him being one of the weaker elements in post-Jon grumps.

Dan is a boss. Ross is a wanker.

Francis gets angry at things. The cycle of rage never ends. It just evolves.

MUSIC MON! EVEN MARIO AND LINK SPIN TO WIN!

I like the idea of the characters in League of Legends having a variety of simple and complex relationships that come out as subtle interactions in the game, but it could go so much further to immerse players in the story side of Summoner's Rift and the world of Runeterra:

  • The easiest and most obvious addition would be to patch in more audio interacctions between characters. EX. Garen & Katarina could flirt (with deadly intent) when near each other and could have unique taunts when the other dies. "I love to watch you spin."
  • Costumes and other optional stuff to pair them up visually. EX. If Garen gets a skin that depicts him as a super hero, give Katarina a matching super heroine or, even better, supper villainess skin.
  • We need more flavor pieces to read and more videos to watch to get us into the currently disjointed story. EX. Instead of just having Gangplank not be dead, try to give us a little less narrative dissonance.
What do you guys think?

I both love and hate Mario Maker. I love building stages and playing creative stages. On the flipside, I hate not having as much control as I would like when building stages and playing lazy or broken-difficult levels. Have you played any cool levels this week?

Zelda has some of the best video game music.

That is all.

Wanna fight me on it?

WORD OF THE DAY! 8/11/15!

origins [ohr-ih-jins]
noun
1. A primary source from which things are derived.
2. The beginning of something.
3. Ancestry or parentage; birth; extraction.

EX. On Steam, PS4, XboxOne, and iDevices, Magic Duels: Origins is Wizards of the Coast's attempt to throw their hat into the free-to-play format of trading card games, in the vein of Hearthstone, and I gotta say that I like it.

The greatest strength of this game is that it is completely free to play and fairly intuitive. You can purchase packs with real money, but, by grinding against bots or real players and completing quests, you will get a collection pretty quick.

The biggest weakness is that the deckbuilder is a little clumsy and I think the packs should give you more cards. But that's my thoughts.

Oh... AND SCREW THE LILIANA CAMPAIGN!

WTF WED! HALLOWEEN EDITION: FAIRIES, FURBIES, FAPPIN', FELT LOBSTERS, & FELINE VIOLENCE!

The meta for competitive Pokémon battling is pretty scary right now; a lot of new Pokémon mean a lot of changes with the addition of a new type, changes to old types--Steel type losing some resistances and other types gaining immunities to some effects--, tons of new moves & abilities, and the fact that, with EV/IV training be made more approachable to a lot of players, casuals, newbies, and returning vets, make the competitive scene something of a nightmare scape with Fairy Pokémon feeding on the destroyed carcasses of the Dragon types that once ruled the meta.

If you like this, make sure to check out more Evfx Online.

Boogie2988 can be scary sometimes, especially when portraying a particularly violent or intense rant as his most popular creation and parody of frustrated nerds everywhere, Francis. In fact, Boogie once got so pent-up and out-of-breath during a Playstation 4 related rant that he actually had an on film asthma attack.

If you've never experienced one, an asthma attack can make a victim feel like they're being suffocated, drowned on land, or being smothered alive.

JINKIES! If TV Maxwell's Cold Pizza short was an indication, they're uber capable of creating a video that is uncomfortable and funny or, at best, even disturbingly hilarious. But, if Cold Pizza was the former of their capabilities I described then Redlight is a beautifully funny homage to the works of Alfred Hitchcock and/or the suspenseful stories spun on The Twilight Zone.

Seriously, this is the creme dela creme of a huge crop of videos I collected for this week and, while like any video it is not gonna strike everyone's fancy, I hope that, if you like it or think someone else will enjoy it, that you'll share this little gem.

This silly little Halloween video starring the Pete Gilroy & The Bath Boys is a perfectly little treat to put as a pallet cleanser after Redlight.

Not as much to say here, but I'll use it as a place to talk about my Halloween. I will be learning to take on the banal costume of a cashier, specifically, a back-up cashier. No costume this year. Maybe next year. We'll see.

I'm as surprised as some of you are that less than half of this week's videos have been animated, but I was specifically looking for the more disturbing Halloween-themed tricks & treats to leave out in a candy bowl for you kiddies to take as much as you please.

So, we'll end with a morbid little mouthful from Twisted Grim TV and I'll bid you all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
