WTF WEDNESDAY PRESENTS
DOUBLE FEATURE: EAST 2 WEST! #1
Few nations easily get into the position of weird and entertaining that Japan can achieve by a mix of having a unique cultural heritage and unabashed artistic passion. I think this is the reason that the West, especially America, has always been very interested in Japanese history. To be fair though, that any nation in the West, is arguably capable of producing equally weird entertainment.
In celebration for this commonality in our cultures, I will couple something a little quriky from Japan with something fairly dorky from America. The thing they have in common? They're both awesome.
And first up we have a delightful anime music video filled with a cute, but clumsy character surviving unbelievable mishaps. The video is filled with summer imagery; soft, warm colors, a twinkling little happy song, and, all-in-all it is a fun experience.
And now for some fun from the West. Game of Thrones is arguably full of just as many WTF and dark moments that would make any anime proud. But we're considered with this awesome mechanical production of the theme song on floppy disk drives. Enjoy this obsessive compulsive venture.
