The Last Unicorn is a very special book by Peter S. Beagle.

The film adaptation, and accompanying soundtrack, is also a special experience thanks to the combination of a stellar cast, Rankin/Bass animation, and a soundtrack written by Jimmy Webb and performed by the band America.

As a way to celebrate a film tour of The Last Unicorn with Peter S. Beagle, Dan Avidan AKA Danny Sexbang of Ninja Sex Party, Game Grumps, and Star Bomb collaborated with his partner (in both life, love, and music) Brian Wecht AKA Ninja Brian to create a cover of the song.

And, because Danny has a very nice voice and it is a very lovely song, the results are a worthy addition to any fantasy playlist. Enjoy.

This amusing little video brought a smile to my face. It is the simple song that tells of the forbidden love between two majestic creatures torn by the expectations of civilization.

First of all, this simply game is about as amusing as flash games come. What really makes it an internet classic for years to come is the inclusion of a ridiculously saccharine and cheesy song from Erasure called "Always". Did I mention you can play it on Adult Swim's website, Facebook, or your cellphone?

EX. Apparently, nothing is more exciting or attractive to the most prudish of creatures, the unicorn, than the prospects of being around/seen/interacting with a celibate individual. This can be related to the old folklore that unicorns only appear to virgins. Unicorns are physically disgusted by anyone who has so much as touched another person wee-wee or hoo-ha.
