I liked the 2012 film adaptation of Dredd. I also think there are a lot of people in the same boat. After all, unlike the Robocop remake or the Total Recall remake, it not only surpasses the original but warrants a new franchise!

Unfortunately, the film's gross was not as impressive as it needed to warrant a sequel in the eyes of Hollywood. But do not lose hope!

Karl Urban hasn't.

As for Donkey Kong, why does everyone hate on "Dankey Kang"?

Yes, to your inner eight year-old, Diddy Kong is a more relateable character; he is young, speedy, agile and wears a baseball cap. Meanwhile, to your inner eight year old, Donkey Kong is older, slower, goofier, and wears a tie. A tie you could hang yourself with!?

But, in defense of Donkey Kong, um...

I think he is okay. Good even. I like him. Okay?

They really need to do a remake of DuckTales in the style of something like the amazing Adventures of Tin Tin movie or the upcoming Genndy Tartakovsky's POPEYE feature film. It had a great cast of fun characters, over-the-top adventures and slapstick, and a kicking soundtrack that has held nostalgia in the hearts of the cartoon's fans for over 25 years and the comic's fans for almost 60 years!

Now, I must away to play more Hyrule Warriors!
