1. Japanese slang. A Japanese word that means "strange beast" but is usually translated to "monster". Ultra-kaiju are a more technical term for giant kaiju, like the most famous kaiju, Godzilla.
2. Japanese slang. A film defined by actors wearing monster suits and fighting on a model set.
EX. Coming this Christmas season to a theater near you, the kaiju film to end all kaiju films, Gojirra Vs. American Christmas Devil!
