WTF WED! POKÉMON Z SUMMONS A POLICE OFFICER AND A BEAR!

Let's start with the "what?"

I found Vega Voverth via his Game Grumps animations. And found this odd little gem on his channel.

I've seen lots of great Dragon Ball Z parodies and lots of great Pokémon parodies. I've even seen mash-ups of these franchises. Yet, this is one is kinda special. What sets this one apart? The style that is intentionally off-putting definitely sets it apart plus combining it with the dialogue of the original scene from DBZ, well except for the Pokémon names and Pikachu's dialogue, and you've got something pretty special.

Well, some kind of "special".

And here is "the f***?!"

I don't want to spoil this one, so I won't elaborate.

Just check it out and it will all make sense. You're welcome. I think.

<3 Plagueofgripes!

Let's round off the weird with a bit of wonderful.

I love the internet. I especially love how the creative peoples of the internet can take something amusing and turn it into something magical. In the case of the fated meeting between Officer Suzanne Bourque and bear cub, the meme Miss Officer & Mr. Truffles spread across tumblr until it eventually hit the page of lemonteaflower, where it culminated in something delightfully cute and funny. Then, that art inspired Flikkof's animation above.

And that is why the internet is magic.

WTF WED! EMPEROR MARK HAMILL'S MINIONS GO TO PREDATOR COLLEGE!

This is a frickin' masterpiece. There are many Star Wars mash-ups and there are many Batman mash-ups, but never before have I seen the two married in to such a perfect matrimony of merriment in the form of redubbing scenes from The Return of the Jedi with Mark Hamill's Joker! It's a brilliant, twisted, and multi-layered bit of meta humor to have two of Mark Hamill's characters play off of each other so naturally. It even has a big bonus for fans of the Dark Knight Rises.

I don't we Summoners often give the minions in the League of Legends much thought than what they can do for us and what they can do for our opponents. Yes, the little stream of minions, super and non-super, can take out each other, towers, other champs, etc. but do we ever consider their feelings about being murdered by the hundreds every match? No. Maybe every time a minion gets in a lucky kill or a jungle creep fights of an overeager champ, we should consider the oppressive lifestyle they lead in the Summoner's Rift and on other maps.

One of my favorite animators on youtube, plagueofgripes, has really outdone himself (again) with his latest animated Let's Play of the guys from TWO BEST FRIENDS PLAY! going on a ludicrous and fantastic tangent about the university years of the Predator from the "classic" video game Predator: Concrete Jungle. The animation really elevates the bit from what most of us would imagine to something truly, truly outrageous! Enjoy!

BONUS FUN FACT: The classic and quintessential manga and animated film, Otomo's Akira, predicted Tokyo winning the big for the location of the 2020 Summer Olympics. In fact, the climax of the film takes place in the stadium built for that Olympics. The film hit theaters in 1988.

WTF WED! LoL EDITION! DARIUS HIGH-FIVES TEEMO AFTER A TAPING OF 'MY BEAR TIBBERS' !

WTF WEDNESDAY PRESENTS

So, I've been playing lots of League of Legends and, as a sociopath who enjoys patterns and themes, I thought I'd share some weird/funny League of Legends animations with you guys-- whether you'll get them or not.

Usually, for League of Legend's themed entertainment, videogamedunkey is king, but it's fun to check out other stuff too. This first video, linked aboved, is a pretty simple and weird little animation that I enjoy...for some reason.

Kicking things up a notch, one of the features I love about League of Legends is there dedication to creating awesome skins for their characters (adds some variety to the already huge roster of characters). But, even more enjoyable, are the fan skins (some of which have seen integration into the game, like Astronautilus and Pool Party Ziggs).

This Manmo skin is a no-brainer. Teemo is one of the most recognizable characters in the game (I knew about Teemo before I ever played the game) and making the little moogle wannabe into a manly badass with a shotgun would be the best skin ever. I might even buy it!

Last but certainly not least is an excellent animation from plagueofgripes that looks at a League of Legends sitcom starring the flaming psychic teddy bear, Tibbers. I would tell you more, but why ruin the surprise?
