WORD OF THE DAY! 7/15/14!

emblem [em-blem]
noun
1. An object or its representation, symbolizing a quality, state, class of persons, etc.; symbol.
2. A sign, design, or figure that identifies or represents something: the emblem of a school.
3. An allegorical picture, often inscribed with a motto supplemental to the visual image with which it forms a single unit of meaning.
4. Obsolete. An inlaid or tessellated ornament.
EX. I understand some fans of Fire Emblem were disappointed by the latest Smash Bros. announcement. They had been holding out for the return of Roy (seemed unlikely to me) or Chroma from the Fire Emblem: Awakening (much more likely considering it is a popular new game on the 3DS). Instead, they got Robin (the main character from Awakening) and Lucina (a female warrior from Awakening impersonating Marth). Chroma, at the moment, seems to be a Final Smash or assist trophy, much to their disappointment, but they should be glad they got another two characters. Seriously, four characters from the same franchise? Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon seem like the only franchises that warrant a saturation of so many characters (Mewtwo please).

But, still, it is cool to see the return of Captain Falcon!
Which challenger/s will be revealed in the sure-to-becoming trailers featuring Jigglypuff and Ness?
