EX. I got to say that these new-fangled gogo designs on these Pokémon revealed in Corocoro magazine are pretty banging (I also linked the new gameplay footage at the top).

Here is some info:

There is some character customization (I'm thinking very limited by the looks of it) and the new region is called Kalos. One of the cities, the one we see the big Eiffel like tower, is called Lumiose City and you may be able to ride some Pokémon in the city. Now, onto the new moppets.

Four Pokémon were revealed with the following Japanese names/English names and information involving them:

Yayakoma or Fletchling, the Japanese Robin Pokémon. It is a normal/flying type that appears to be able to learn a move called Nitro Charge.

Yamchan or Pancham, the Naughty Pokémon. It is a Fighting type Pokémon that looks like a Panda.

Gogoat, the Ride Pokémon. It's a Grass type Pokémon that you can ride in some section of the game!

And my favorite of the four, Elikiteru or Helioptile, the Generating Pokémon. It's a normal/electric type (that I hope evolves into an electric/grass type) and appears to know a new move called Parabola Charge. I love the little hat, the derpy eyes, and his color scheme.

Which one is your favorite?

WORD OF THE DAY! 2/26/13.

atiptoe [uh-tip-toh]
adjective
1. Standing or walking on tiptoe.
2. Eagerly expectant, as anticipating a desired event or arrival.
3. Moving with caution or stealth, as avoiding calling attention to one's presence.

EX. I know that all the Pokémon fans out there are atiptoe for news on the upcoming 3DS release Pokémon titles, X & Y. We want information, we want spoilers, but most of all we want to know that the 6th Generation is going to be amazing. Just like the kids below who're standing atiptoe with the head of a Pokégod as a sacrifice to Arceus to keep Fennekin from evolving into another Fire/Fighting type.

WORD OF THE DAY! 1/17/13.

audiovisual [aw-dee-oh-viz-yoo-uhl]
adjective
1. of, pertaining to, involving, or directed at both sight and hearing or visuals and sound.

EX. I like the idea of the audiovisual theme for Pokemon X & Y, since the games represent a technological and design leap forward onto the 3DS, and find some credence in some of the ideas presented. I don't think Xerneas, the fellow on the left, is necessarily going to be a new type (I imagine they'd make him Dark/Flying?), but I do find the idea of Yveltal being Light type, a type that fans have been waiting for since Dark type was introduced in 2nd Generation, would be a welcome addition and might help stir up the competitive scene a little.
