4. carried off spiritually to another place, sphere of existence, etc.

EX. I personally found my range of rapt attention hangs all around this bell curve but tend to gravitate away from fighting games. I do take a little offense to Sports Games being put in the same category of shooters. Sports games, in my experience, are quite easy to pick up/enjoy. Also, Racing games aren't on the list but I'd probably put them in the same place as Platformers and Puzzle Games.
